I'm the most conservative gal I know...(Northern MN). It didn't take long before I too took my top off and just relaxed. I had a Two year old at home and I still hadn't taken off the baby weight. So I wasn't so sure about going topless.. Until I met the wonderful people there. The only thing they care about is if you got a smile on your face and are ready to have a good time. The look on my hubby's face when he turned around to see me just letting loose and embracing the vacation.. priceless. No one expects you to do anything you are not comfortable with .. so close the mind and be your inner carefree gal. You will want to go back again and again..
Hey guys same comment as everybody else, we were there last year and felt very comfortable did not take my wife long to take her shirt off !!! Lol ) just be yourself and have a great time.

GoGo is right. Those stretch marks should be worn like a badge of honor. They represent one of THE MOST IMPORTANT PARTS OF YOUR LIFE. All you have to do is give her the confidence in herself. I think that the sexiest thing about a women is her confidence - no matter what size she is. Everyone (most everyone) has something that they would like to change about their bodies! The only one she has to worry about is you....and I pretty sure you got that covered!
When we went last year, it appeared to me that the perfect and hardbodies were among the minority...most people are just your average, everyday people...besides, you only feel self-conscious for a little bit, then once you see that nobody cares what you look like, all the trepidation just melts away....a couple drinks helps too! LOL ENJOY!!!!!
We will be there the same time and its going to be our first trip together at a topless resort. Shes a little worried,all the people on here have really been great and seems to make her a bit more comfortable and a good adult beverage wont hurt either.
Just let her know that she can keep her top on untill it feels right to her.No one will pressure her to do other wise. been there....(this might be long) i actually posted this comment last March 2012...before i went to TTR for the first time.... "I used to be very self conscious about my body, i've had kids and my body shape has changed and gravity has taken its toll. However, i very much earned my imperfections...and being open and bare in public doesnt bother me now. But it took me a long time to get there. Be supportive, dont push, she will do it when she is comfortable. I very much agree with the other posters with adhering to the ttr motto. I'm not big on walking around topless or having the girls exposed when i go refill my sippy cup at the bar (and unless i can find a handsome young happy meal to do it for me...i'll be slippin on the coverup to do it myself) Your lovely wife may have to take it slow at first...but when she sees that she is more the minority that the majority...and that nobody is paying attention...(its not like every one is going to give the ladies standing ovations every time one of us takes off her top...at least i hope not...)...she will be fine!! I remember the first time i visited friends at a nudist resort....i wasnt sure if i could walk around nude either....we drove past the gate, i felt more out of place dressed!! (and the first thing i saw was a VERY NUDE Taylor Lautner look-alike taking out the garbage....fek, my clothes were gone in seconds..) Give her time, patience and encouragement, but let her decide when she is ready And when she does, appreciate her!! She needs to hear it from u more than anyone else!!!" That being said.... I got to TTR at 1230, was at the the pool at 100, went down to the beach and the bikini top came off then and there and never looked back. I felt more self conscious with my top on than off...i was never pressured, mind you....but i just got caught up in the spirit of the place (and several rounds of shooters helped) ... and what happens in the presence of alcohol infused whipped cream on a Boobs Cruise is another completely other post for another day...(i was really outta my shell by then :icon_lol::wink3: ) There were gorgeous well toned women there. I am not and never will be one of them. AND THAT IS OKAY!! I am very proud that mine was the largest bikini top on the mast of the April 1st Boobs Cruise!! (not that i was wearing it...just brought it in principle) Your lovely wife will not be pressured by anyone. What happens at TTR will stay on ttr. Everyone, male and female, will be respectful. (and if they aren't...they will be told!...MAYbes stick up up for each other!) To paraphrase what someone (was it Jess?!?) said before....and will no doubt say again....in the right company-and with the right amount of liquid courage....she will have the confidence!!
