Someone recommended we bring our own water (on another website) and I find that hard to believe. The resort doesn't offer bottled water in the fridge mini bar? REALLY?? This CAN'T be right!!

The maids are supposed to leave bottled water each day, but it does not always happen (kind of a Mexico thing).

We always buy some extra (or steal ones off the maid's cart) to keep hydrated. Something about the combination of the quantity of alcohol that I drink during the day, and the heat that makes me thirsty for lots of for water.

But you don't have to bring it from the states. At the resorts you can drink the water from the tap with no problem. Each resort has it's only water purification system. Just most people find it tastes funny. So they drink bottled water. TTR has several "water stations" around where you can refill your bottle should you run out. The waiters in the resturants will take care of it for you with no problems.

Well DUH!!!! How do you think they make the ice????

Might not hurt to write a note asking for water and putting it under the tip money. I usually get my water bottle refilled at the buffet a couple of times a day.

No need to bring bottled water, just as everyone said but, be sure to bring some Imodium! Just in case you get an attack of Montezuma Revenge!!

Yes they have water in all the rooms and because hubby and I drank so much they always left us one in the fridge and a couple of extras. If you want lots of water just leave a note and a tip and you won't have to worry about running out of water.
