    I just seen this movie not to long ago, never heard of it before and had no idea there was a book... think I've figured out what book I'm going to take to Temptations.. What a wonderful movie

    You won't be disappointed with the book - it's a truly great read! The only downside to reading any book after watching its big screen version is that all characters have been already visualised for you and imagination has a very little to do...enjoy!

    But that's cheating! Plus, it spoils the twist ending right at the beginning.
    As for books, I'd strongly recommend "A Song of Ice and Fire" series by George R R Martin (currently being televised as "Game of Thrones"). It can sometimes be a bit af work to read but stick with it. I read the first book when it first came out about 15 years ago and it really blew me away. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of the TV show and think they've done a wonderful job of it, but the sheer amount of story that they have to work with, some things inevitably get cut or changed which is a shame for such a rich story.
