So that's the end of my trip report... The only other thing I can write about in detail is our last breakfast. Remember, I was the one without the camera. I can remember what happened, just the time lines are a little fuzzy. Examples: -Did Carole hit me with her car on the way to QT, or on the way to New Haven from QT? -Did Red2party try explaining the the dating org chart before my nap or after my nap? If it was just before my nap, it explains a lot -When did Dennis leave? I know he was there that night... I still have the image of him and the dog in my head. I do remember breakfast on the last day... So here goes... I wake up, it must be around 7:30am, with a pit bull trying to mount me. Normally, I'm not one to argue with a pit bull, but I've been trying to get a nap in since Friday morning. Once the pit bull and I sorted our sleeping arrangements, we each start getting comfortable in our respective couches, when we hear a loud crash coming from somewhere in the house. Normally, I would of volunteered to find the source of the car falling out of the garage type noise, but I've been trying to get a nap in since Friday morning. *Since Sir Jager can't defend himself here, we will skip to the next hour* Red2Party gets up and joins me in the living room. We discuss the antics of the previous hour and the other antics leading up to that hour. Then, as it became the norm on Sunday, I apologized for the role I played in helping set the stage. We argued a little bit over what events really happened, versus which ones were just a fiction of our drunken stupors. We realized that once again we would need the camera to tell us what we did the previous night. Where was was the camera? Mikey took the pictures, probably with Mikey. Where was Mikey? Someone gave him directions back to the hotel last night. The hotel? How far is the hotel? An hour. We need to leave asap to get back to the hotel... SSS and check out. We should wake up Ian. Ian, where's Ian? Red2party knows, she'll wake him up. He won't wake up... He mumbled something about "night" I think... I can't understand him. He's dead to the world... let's get ready for breakfast. I'll text Carole. Red2Party sends Carole a text and jumps in the shower. Ian gets up, heads to living room and is looking about as bad as I am. He grabs a beer from the fridge on the way to the living room and starts working on his first tall boy of the morning. Judging by his socks, he got a visit from the other dog last night. Kristen returns, ready for breakfast. We call Mikey, give him directions and we're left with just waiting for Carole, who should be by in about 5 minutes. Ian thinks 5 minutes is plenty of time and cracks another tall boy. Carole arrives, Ian and I apologize, we decide we need a breakfast place with a full bar so we can have a couple drinks waiting for Mikey, Ian takes his last sip and we head out to Neptune. The 4 of us show up at Neptune's. I'm pretty sure it was just the four of us... there's probably a picture somewhere that will prove me wrong again. It's Carole and Red2Party, who both look hot - they have both showered, done their doo, makeup, smell nice a clean pair of clothes... Followed by Ian and myself, who have just woken up off the couch, smell like we've just consumed an incredible amount of booze and it's ouzing through our pours, haven't even brushed out teeth... The most we had done was rinsed our mouth with some beer. The worse part, it was clear as day that we both obviously had run-ins with dogs. Carole and Red2Party are understanding and find it within them to ask for a table for 5, where as I would of definitely made sure I requested table for 2 and not be seated any where near the two drunks standing in line behind us. She sits us in a booth in a kid friendly zone. When I say kid friendly, I mean every table and booth around is is occupied, and the kids outnumber the adults. The waitress asks the table if we would like a coffee or juice... Carole replies with a bloody mary. Red2party follows up with a white wine. At this point, you could see in her face that the waitress realizes the seating arrangement issues. It's been a while since I've had a Bloody Mary for breakfast. I confirm with Carole that it's definitely a breakfast bloody mary and order one. Ian asks for a list of bottle beer, and orders two of them. Our drinks arrive, we cheers and start a new day... I still insist that a breakfast drink is not suppose to be half and half! Mikey arrives and we start the food ordering. It's a little blurry, except for Ian. His order will be included in my Top10 Things Heard In CT. I don't know if Ian finished his breakfast first, or his 12th bottle of breakfast beer first. What I do remember, is that when the food did arrive, all the tables around us were empty. Instead of moving us out of the kid friendly section, they moved all the kids out of what was now OUR section. Our booth was the closest booth to the bar... With the numbers of trips we sent our waitress on, it was probably easier to move the kids instead of us. We take turns using the bathroom for the long drive back to New Haven. We get ready to argue about one more bill, but we are too late. Thank you ladies for a great breakfast. And we're off. Say our goodbyes to Red2party who has heading home for a nap and we're off to our Executive Penthouse Suites that were only being used to store our luggage. We arrive, but our keys have been deactivated. We were suppose to check out two hours ago, We book the room for an extra night.... I get ready, pack my bags, some more goodbyes, and I'm off to the airport with Carole. Ian was going to take a nap... Him and Mikey ended up at a sports bar instead to watch the Sunday matches. Red2party joined them. The End.
I knew you would be the best person the write the trip report. As Ian would probably say. Bloody Fantastic. We had a great time with you guys. You did forget to mention your sudden urge to drive to Montreal Saturday night to find an open bar after we closed at 1:30. And you deciding that cutting off Todd was not in the cards, and having to look through Ian's camera to see if Dennis did indeed find his way back to Kristen's Saturday night. And indeed he did thanks to the evidence. Next party - Montreal.
