I am checking this place out next weekend. Sounds like it may be a good place to "hit" www.alchemynightclub.com

Hula Hank's is a Tiki themed bar that has brought island style fun to the middle of downtown New Haven. At Hank's any suit is acceptable - business or bathing, and the weather always permits at our beach.
ok for all ure new haven club information ask me alchemey is only good on thursdays and is a younger crowd, hula hanks i have only been twice and it was for a total of 30 minutes (however i did like it reminds me of cancun the music and the set up) oracle use to be the place to go but now it sucks, i personally like bottega, good drinks and good music (upstairs all house euro/montreal kind of music downstairs all hip hop), playwright i have only been to once and that was for 5 min they say its an irish pub but the one in hamden is the real irish pub with football on and the owner from ireland, neat use to be a cool place too but now they changed it to black bear saloon, nikkita is a good place to start the nite off martini lounge where it is very reasonably priced
and if Ian is so inclined to do some bull riding we can take him to the SaltyDog. www.saltydogsaloon.net/NewHaven.htm Ian - maybe you shouldn't wear your kilt for that one.
salty dog is now closed carole, and ian as far as alchemys 50 page dress code policy noone follows it and u will see 19 year old college freshmen wearing ripped jeans, a tshirt with a stupid saying on it, running shoes and a baseball cap
