and nobody under 50 uses AOL... We wouldn't even be having this discussion if you weren't taking another Friday off to rest up so you can take your A Game to the in-laws for dinner Saturday night. You're probably in bed right now, trying for your second nap of the day... probably why you didn't answer you phone. Must be a late dinner, like seven or seven thirty.

    English Lesson Time:

Because you is both singular and plural, various English dialects have attempted to revive the distinction between a singular and plural you to avoid confusion between the two uses. This is typically done by adding a new plural form; examples of new plurals sometimes seen and heard are y'all/you-all (primarily in the southern United States and African American Vernacular English), you guys (in the U.S., particularly in Midwest, Northeast, and West Coast, and in Australia), you lot (in the UK), youse (Scotland, Northern England, Australia, New Zealand) youse guys (New York City region, Philadelphia, Michigan's Upper Peninsula; also spelt without the E), and you-uns/yinz (Western Pennsylvania, The Appalachians). English spoken in Ireland, known as Hiberno-English, uses the word ye as the plural form, or yous. Although these plurals are useful in daily speech, they are generally not found in Standard English. Among them, you guys is considered most neutral in the U.S.[1] It is the most common plural form of you in the U.S. except in the dialects with y'all, and has been used even in the White House.[2]

I rest my case. YOU GUYS = YOU!

young men unblock their numbers when they call so it does not come up 'restricted'. I know you're upset because clearly you're the one who needs naptime, so I see where you're trying to go with this. I was busy doing a keg stand, anyway, when you called.

I will check out this MSN thing you speak of...I say it sucks, but as young and youthful as I am, I enjoy trying new things.

You mean as in IM's? I have never used MSN. Yahoo always gives me tons of problems. Never had any with AIM.

Restricted? Might be time to start shopping for bifocals. The two older ladies in my office swear by them. They say they can see like they're 10 years younger!

I'm glad you're going through these changes first. Hopefully learning through your experiences will make it easier on me when my time comes.

Flights are looking good for the w/e of the 15th, arriving YUL via a two hour stop over in Philadelphia at 17.05 with US Airways for £344 as opposed to those robbing b@stards at British Airways wanting to charge £466...

    So..................

    Ian
