I agree with you Waste. It's dangerous enough there with full daylight and a snootful of Happy Sauce. Put it at night and the ambulances would be running non-stop.
I know first aid, CPR and mouth to mouth repassionation ... I mean respiration .... LOL. would be happy to help out with any injuries .... LOL
Plus the Disney pool probably does not have a awim up bar that some people manage to sit at for hours on end, drinking XX, and never having to get up and go to El Banos... 3 days to go...
Maybe they let the pumps cool down after 9pm since they have been running full speed during the days to keep the pools somewhat clean...lol...
I've noticed that there are some folks who never leave the swim up bar yet they can drink all day. I'm in the can about every hour. Guess they just hold it better, Right???
I'm sure the "no pool at night" hasn't got diddly to do with chemicals but instead with security and operations. Our room was right off the pool last summer and the only time I saw them chemically treating the pool was between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM - not at night at all. They chorlinate it by dumping scoops of crap into it. High tech! Disney and security - truly amazing. There is a network of tunnels under the entire property in Florida. We were there a few summers ago and a fight broke out in Epcot and security guys literally popped out of the bushes, grabbed the baddies, walked them around a bldg and disappeared.
Thank you, but most of my injuries include broken bones and blood loss. I don't consider myself a bleeder, but my blood does tend to be a little thinner in Cancun.
Not that it really matters, but I have seen the staff dump a 5 gallon container of liquid in the pool well after dark. The stuff kind of glows in the light as it mixes with the water. It would still be nice if the pool was open a little later.
