It was good - not somewhere I could go too often but it was nice food.

Gene sure knows what a Harvey Wallbanger is.

Last night I think I had too many Tequila Wallbangers.

    Ingredients:

    Lots of tequila shots,
    Walls

    Recipe:

    You know the rest.

Hilarious, TJ. Of course the banging and the Harry were not one and the same. Actually, I remember a New Years Eve where we mixed up a very large pitcher of Wallbangers: my date spent the nite on the floor beside the toilet - woe is me.

 Oops! I'm sorry! I read that post too fast! (Never heard of the Harry Wallbanger... )

Us younger generation do not know the Harvey Wallbanger. The people I hang out with never heard of them. I only heard of them from my mom talking about them as I was growing up, even then I did not know what it consists of until I was bartending at a "fine dining" restaurant a couple years back. (Lots of old people go there. Old as in 70 and 80+ year old people. There's a group of 70+ year old couples that go there every Saturday night to dance to the old music. Anywhere from three to eight couples! And I could go on... but I won't.)

    Harvey Wallbanger

    Ingredients:
    1oz Vodka
    .25oz Galliano
    3oz Orange Juice

    Preparation:
Pour vodka and orange over ice and add Galliano
Garnish with a cherry and orange slice
Serve drink in a Collins glass

There is no difference between Harry and Harvey, although you'll run into Harvey more in the States and Harry seems to travel in Europe a lot.

From the Wikipedia entry on Harvey Wallbanger:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvey_Wallbanger

As for Mongolian Garden, we ate there, liked the food, thought the prices and service were decent, but hated HATED hated the green lighting which just makes both your food and your date look unappetizing...

    Hey Rivergirl,

I never even noticed the green lighting but it was still quite daylight. But you are married so you shouldn't care what your date looks like anyway.

I was with Trina, who always looks good, and Bundy, who is unappetizing in the best of lighting. LOL

    Sorry B.

Next time I'll go there for lunch. As for my date, when he stops looking appetizing I'm outta here...no more green lighting...LOL.

As for Bundy, I think he looks so hot in his UPS-man baseball hat...

If you are talking about the green lights on the table, you can change them.... Just grab them and push the button and it will change color from green to white, red and purpule.
