I may have discovered reason for large groups of Brit lads booking

Do you think that TTR know about this? may be worth copying them into any correspondence. All of these groups have been embarrassing over the past couple of years, this year we had the hassle of having to move rooms because of some inconsiderate young people 2 groups from the UK that met and made one big group, screaming and slamming doors, shouting over the balconies(not a balcony show in sight) at 5.00 am, not stopping when security was there, they continued this behaviour until we went for breakfast at 8.00 am! They were all on the top floor of the building and all the guests in our block were awake and very upset that they had just no thought for others that needed the sleep to party the next day! I did go and ask them to shut up, backed up by people from other rooms only to be given a load of verbal from this girl from Liverpool, as I walked back downstairs I called her a "stupid, inconsiderate little bitch that had no thoughts for others" Her reply to one of the lads was " She called me a Bitch" !!!! Said it all about the mentality!!! We went to reception after breakfast and they found us another room, it just seemed so unfair that we had spend hours moving and they were not moved out! They were at Patios that evening and security removed some of them out to reception, thankfully we never saw them again!

 

Exactly. I priced for both, and it is ~£300 cheaper to book as a package. Also, booking as a package, if something went wrong with the flight and the holiday was cancelled, we'd get refund for flight+hotel, whereas booking both separately it's a little more complicated.

BTW, Thomson have packages available up until end of September. After that, it's just Thomas Cook via Escapades for the main package holiday provider.

Going to keep working on my Spanish because if I do end up ever having to book each independently I want to make sure I'm competent to sort out arrangements should anything go wrong! I wonder in future if it's worth buying weeks from Premier members, at least then getting something out of paying through the nose!

I just got back for TTR and there was a group of 16 or so lads from Wales celebrating a bachelor party... It may be because I went as a single male by myself and didn't have a gal for them to hit on, but they all seemed very respectful to everyone and there just to have fun just like everyone else... Trust me, i wanted to not like them if for no other reason as I thought people might lump me in with them but they really didn't get any more rowdy then any other group of couples.

 

I couldn't agree more. Usually I travel by myself or with one other person (yay I arrive tomorrow!) and I like to think I am well behaved. Even last November when I had a small group (6 of us, 5 guys 1 girl) I think we were pretty good.

Hey there, just wanted to say that we couldn't agree more with you. We thought they were a pretty well behaved bunch having a great time... can you imagine wearing that Mr. Potatoe head costume all night.
I think that everyone should investigate and research this resort and be aware there are times when large groups of young single males go to the resort. I believe it works both ways. Met you a couple times but didn't get much time to chat. Hope to see you again next April
