Last nights game was a good one though. At any point it could have gone either way.

I wish I could have enjoyed the game a little more but it was making me crazy so I had to turn it off at 9 :evil:

 

I absolutely love this time of the year for Yankees/Red Sox baseball. Over the last 10 years and more, the two teams have been so evenly matched that it guarantees a good battle every time they meet. Especially in September.

To me, nothing was better than the 2003 ALCS. Right down to the wire in game 7 and a dramatic finish with Aaron Boone's walk off homer. I could have cared less about the Yanks being in the World Series after that. Those 7 games were some of th ebest I have ever seen.

This sweep was HUGE!!! but there is still a month of baseball to play.

The Yanks might have started playing good ball just a little too late this year. just dont know if they can gain 5 games on the Sox.
