Ian, explain something to me. Why is it that when you go into a pub, you have to order your drinks first, at the bar, pay for said drinky drinks, then sit down and order your food????

 

Dont know.

I dont eat in pubs as it cuts into my drinking time.

PS. When you say sit down and order your food do you mean sit down and a waitress comes to your table or you sit down, look at a menu, note your table number then return to the bar ( maybe a seperate food ordering section ) to order the food ?
