Here's the latest on the TTR-BOOKIT saga. (Yes I'm whining, if you don't want to hear me bitching, stop reading now). Booked TTR in Nov. Bookit got confirmation from TTR with confirmation number and everything Nov 28th. Bookit says TTR cancelled us on 4/7 TTR says bookit cancelled us on 4/7 TTR overbooked our week so can't get in no way no how. We booked GP.....for an extra cost mind you. If we chose another week that'd be extra $500 for flight change. Remember, bookit says it's not their fault. You gotta pay extra. TTR not gonna pay because THEY didn't cancel us. I've emailed everyone but the goddamned President to tell them how upset I am. I am hoping they might give us a few day passes to hang out with our friends for a day or two but I'm fairly certain it's gonna be met with a big fat NO. If anyone knows anyone who might be able to sneak us in. Let us know. 19-26. Thanks for your listening. (Yes we could buy passes but I just don't fricken think we should have to!). Done rant.
I think some "whine" with a side of wine is a perfect response to this situation!! So sorry you're having to go through this...it's just not right!
If I was a gambling man I would believe Book-it,s version. Book it would/should have a Cancellation Doc from TTR ,, or vis versa Its sounds more like you got bumped by TTR, then Book-it I,m surprised it is taking so long to get answers (real) any way GP has a lot a good reviews , go and enjoy
That's is not whining, that is telling a frustrating truth. The GP is fun, just not the same party. Maybe we should have a go fund me page so you can get a free Boobs Cruise, lol. You will have fun. Best wishes.
Small consolation, but at least you are going to a similar resort. The Golden used to over book all the time, and send people to their sister resort that was not adult only and full of children. That would really suck. Definitely try and get an ocean side room, and the 3rd floor or higher, and sleep with the door open. The crashing waves are cool. The view, and the beach beat TTR by a mile.
