I am curious as to why people chose to go to TTR for the first time

Thanks. The better half is needing some convincing..I told her I wanted to go where we could cut loose and no one would care. She agrees with that but is very nervous about the "topless" thing...

 

We will be going to TTR for our first time in June. Wife was a little nervous about it, so we went to GOV last year and met some great people who assured her she would love it. They will be meeting us there next summer. The "topless thing"...we(she) went through that nervousness as well but the girls Moorea Beach Club in Vegas encouraged her and it was a non-issue in minutes and I enjoy the view. She said "wow this is actually more comfortable" Received a few compliments and since then the nervousness is gone.

The topless thing was an issue with one of the wives in our first group, but she never felt pressured to take it off and had a blast with the rest of us. Remember: It's optional. On our first trip, I would say that it was about 60-40 with tops. The next year at the same time of year, it was 80-20 topless.

In 2010, we were taking a vacation without kids for the first time in 15 years so we were just looking for something that felt a little more "sexy". We found it.

 

We almost went last February for a very cheap price of $800 a person w airfare, but then I chickened out thinking I was intimidated by the topless thing. Now I found cancuncare and am so mad I didn't book

Yes...you can sign up to get updates when someone posts on the June Junkies page and request membership to the group. Pick your dates and then friend a few people who will be there at the same time and if you post them others will probably friend you. We will be 17-22...already booked with Alpha Rooms.
