I am curious as to why people chose to go to TTR for the first time

    Gave my reason for coming to the resort prior. The REAL reason we return is that NOBODY JUDGES YOU. So those newbies out there that are contemplating TTR ....Book it. You'll be addicted like the rest of us.

    i wanted a place that was adult only and party more then the last place we went in republic. I found TTR, but the wife was not sure about it. she say it look like a swinging club. :( then some friend went this april, 3 month later we booked our first trip for april 2015. cant wait!!!!

    I get the same feeling from this forum curis and dawn. My wife and I also have never been to the same resort twice but I think that might change if everyone there is as nice as the folks on this forum. Thanks for the replies.

    Trip number 2 coming in 3 days and trip number 1 was just 5 months ago. Yeah, it's addicting.

    No kids! It was also way cheaper than Vegas--10 days for less than we spent in 5. Now family asks why are you going again? Didn't you just go there a little while ago?

    I'm incredibly cheap and during the swine flu years the prices with airfare dropped to under a hundred a night for singles. Met some crazy bastards and we've been keeping the party going ever since.

    Initially booked 4 years ago for a group of 6 girls looking for an affordable adult only all inclusive...found TTR without having any idea what it was truly all about but we all had a blast! A few of us have returned every year since. I'm returning in 2 days for Halloween with a few other future addicts!! ;)

    I had been to Cancun several times both as a single before I met my wife and after as a couple but had always stayed at different places, until 2001 when we stayed at the hotel for the first time.

    Jannet had worked as a travel rep in Cancun for several years before moving to the UK, so she knew the different hotels and what I might like. She suggested we try Temptation (Blue Bay Getaway in those days), to me the hotel wasn't important as long as it was Cancun.

    In those days cancuncare didnt exist, fairly sure Trip Advisor didn't either so went in cold based off what I read in the travel brochure.

    Had a great time, met some cool people and enjoyed the friendliness of the staff, we went back in 2002 and had another great time. Now we were hooked and the quest began to find a way to move to Cancun full time. 3 months later cancuncare was born, and two years after that we moved there.

    We went on very expensive vacation down in Playa, no night life no fun, the place closed at 9 pm. Came home to our children and all the BS, and decided to get away again but needed something cheap. So 3 months later we head to TTR, me (the mrs very apprehensive and scared) but hit the door got into party mode, with top on and then 1st night! WOW. Still took 1/2 of second day before I decided I love being topless.
    Now we go back because of fun and friends.
