Sorry, this should probably be in the hotel topic but I am not able to post in there. First timer to Cancun in mid February and just heard that the hotel I am staying at Hyatt Cancun Caribe, has been sold and the ownership on it has changed. Anyone have any thoughts on this, should I have reason for concern. I love Mexico but have not been to Cancun so I dont anticipate a big deal but was just curious what the initial feedback on the deal was. We have a top level suite booked for a week and a half so kind of curious. Big thanks in advance as I have been able to find out more about Cancun on this board than any lousy books.
should rephrase i guess? is this pretty typical in Cancun? I am sure i will be ok but kind of curious.
Hotels change name and ownership regularly. It's normally not a problem to guests. Jim mentioned in this thread: http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=734139 but I know no more than that.
We've benn staying at the Hyatt Cancun Caribe for past 10 years, last May was our most recent trip, awsome place/people, wouldn't think about staying anyplace else in Cancun, doubt we could find better.
