Friday 11:20am No wind, no rain and the sun is shining. Access to the hotel zone has reopened and very minimal damage, just a few branches down which have already been cleared away. Looks like my banana tree didn't make it, it hasn't completely fallen but only because the tree next to it kept it from hitting the ground I feel for all those that cancelled their trip, however, it was the right decision based on the information available at the time. I hear ya on the banana tree issue. I just started growing mine in April and will have to wait a few more years before I see any fruit. Although mine is kept in a gigantic pot as I have to bring it inside in the winter.

Was there 0ct 20 thru 27 extended to the 30th because of Rina.. experienced 1 night of rain and 1 cloudy day not bad for a so called hurricane
