Cool pic Steve! We decided to stay on the safe side and cancelled... well actually postponed the trip. Our travel agent was fortunate enough to act on our behalf and got our week transferred to "same time- next year" with no additional $$. God speed to all you who are there and hopefully those of you who are coming in when the flights start happening again (friday??) will find the resort usuable with better weather... So in a nutshell, we have our two 2012 (April Addict and Halloween) trips already booked!
Yeah for all involved Hope this continues to weaken!! I have been tracking this non stop also since Sunday evening. Right now we are scheduled to arrive at 1855 Friday evening and I know we will all be ready to PARTY. Thanks Steve you have done an awesome job on here. I appreciate everyone input and everyone keep praying that we still get a vacation out of all this mess. Mary and Dean can't wait to see you even though it will only be a quick visit. Tina

Steve We don't get in on Monday until 10am so we won't be doing that cruise but may do the one on Nov 5 instead. If so we will get our deposit in soon. Cheers Laura and Will
Steve, I am also a Hurricane Wilma vet., and will be at Tempatation in two weeks. I was staying at a Palace Resorts hotel for Wilma and was evacuated South to Adventura Palace convention Center for 6 days. About 1600 pool chairs lined up like Army cots to sleep on. Up until a day before we were told no evacuation, the morning of, we were madated to leave and they told us not to carry anything and that we would have access to our luggage at the convertion center...not true. My advise, if you happen to be evacuated, take a deck of card (we actually had people offering to pay $100 for ours) all medications, and any water/food you can carry in small bag. We felt fortuate as we had food and water during our 6 day ordeal but the people I met at the airport afterwards made my experience seem tame. Bathroom in a bucket in a closet; a roll and bottle of water for dinner...that bad. I had people in my shelter freaking out because they did not have their meds. Once we were let out we walked to a small town down the road and made phone calls and because of a government ban on alcohol we had to bribe a store owner to sell us some tequilla and beer to keep us sane until we could get a flight out. My suggestion is to check the weather reports and prepare to cancel if it does not get better, if you are already there during the hurricane, prepare for the worse. Trust me no shower for 6 days, and in the same cloths is not very fun either. Granted this was little different sort of a hurricane but still....
