Hehe that kid is really bright, cant be older than 13 or 14. Knows his meteorology, can present to the public and make a website that will be linked from all over. He'll go far, I'm sure.
The storm is said to be just 100 miles away, with sustained winds of 100 MPH, yet there is no wind, here, and the streets are dry.
Just a little rain this morning, Paula seems to be sitting in the Yucatan Channel and likely heading to Cuba. Good morning!
I had the day off and am not pleased once so ever about it. Not much Suncare can be sold, even if its overcast. Paula's a bit$h in my opinion. And now the sun is shinning. GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Too much BEER? Steve, being a good friend as well as neighbor, I'll volunteer to help you with all the excess beer your stuck with. I mean.......what are friends for? :beer4:
We were ready, storm windows closed, but I'm glad there were no complications, here. I'm awfully glad to have had the day off, I needed it! And, it was fun to come home yesterday afternoon, knowing my wife and I would have time alone with little to do, for a good stretch. We went out last evening, thinking we might be cooped up for a couple of days and this was the last chance on the town for a while: we went to an Italian restaurant, where they told us the government had mandated a cut off of alcohol sales at 6 PM, so we ordered, immediately, it being about ten minutes till 6 PM. Today, we resumed our condo hunt, which my day off gave us time for, without having to watch the clock for a change. All in all, a pretty good hurricane watch, I must say!
