Hurricane Irma - Next Week - Thoughts?

Ah CRAP...IRMA veering southward toward Florda... Been thru one rainy Vacation. I don't need another. I REALLY love TTR, but with the continuing issues, construction, Beach beds gone, "open air" restuarant gone ( I loved taking a break there from the sexy pool and eating,drinking, and feeling the ocean breeze there), new entertainment staff trying to figure it out as hard as they are trying(I do give them credit)....and now with the very real threat of IRMA and bad weather...It makes a tough case to keep my trip at the increased prices. Maybe I'll shoot for a few days in Nov. when things are straightened out a bit. I'l give it one more day, thats what I have before I can cancel without being penalized.

I say, grab a Hobie Cat or go windsurfing.

Unfortunately, they put up the red flags and the harbormaster closes the bay.

 

It's beautiful here today. I don't think that Cancun will be affected. I've been watching since we still have another 9 days here.
