Re: ... I didn't judge either..Iwas just surprised that you would think any benefit to tourist was worth the price it would cost the locals. My reaction was that I found it insenstive. I think you might feel different if you actually had people you were close to living there.
I am no longer NEAR as sensitive as I used to be.. towards this and towards other things.. for a long time I had the emotions of a girl but at this point I've changed my ways
indeed - everyones comments can be interpreted differently but anyways, lets hope that the wind speed dies down before it hits much landfall, be it cancun or anywhere - if i'm reading the graphs right theres 5-10% chance of hurricane force winds hitting that tip of mexico but a higher chance of tropical storm force winds ... correct me if im wrong here coz im shite at reading maps n the like!
from what the weather channel says, will be a CAT 4 hurrican by monday, which is VERY bad!! Its hard to tell right now where it will end up going after it gets to cuba, either towards cancun or away from it, time will tell!
We just have to wait and see. I've found the National Weather Service to right on spot with their predictions. They have it almost definitely hitting the Yucatan but not necessarily Cancun. It's going to be a long couple or days waiting to see if it turns or not.
Some of the best parties are hurricane parties, but only if it doesn't hit directly of course. When there's nothing to do but sit in the bar and drink, people get a little crazy...
