It is my bewilderment at why Nick could
1. even think such a thing

Perhaps he should clarify what exactly he meant! I think typing something out sometimes can get misunderstood, however, yes, it did come across as harmful. Let him respond and lets wait and see what he meant by it! :-|

 

Well I think he might be saying liike we as tourists may have benfited from the re construction and re creation of some things after the storm..


But in way should we make light of it the people of MExico weent through Hell and back through that and many lost loads guys..We shouldn't think like that....

If anything we as tourists should think hey I will still go to Cancun regardless or Huricane damage, or Toutist dollars can help them..And heck we love Cancun hurricane or not I am going to go there..

 

I've been watching this one for days, since the weekends actually, I've been praying like crazy but just like Wilma every time it's updated it just looks worse. I really hope the track changes A LOT or a huge miracle happens. It's BAD and I can't believe that it might happen again so soon.

As the old saying goes.. to each his own...

Economy wise... Cancun will struggle and for tourists returning, things will be much less expensive. This would HELP them in that the dollars being spent during spring break and such will rebuild. I am surprised that people are so quick to judge and argue. I even stated that I was not trying to offend any habitual Cancun livers... ROAR
