Playa and Tulum did quite well...in fact, I think Playa's back in business already. As far as farther south goes....gotta wait and see on that one. From all accounts, the storm made landfall in fairly unpopulated area so that's good news. But I'm sure the natural preserves took a big hit.

My parents recieved a call from there travel person from there time share today just said there was some beach erosion, but i guess to get people to get time shares they offer them free trips to Xel Ha and she hasnt been able to reach anyone down in that area and said from what shes heard its real bad but theres no communication. Too bad bout Xel Ha though that place was beautiful.
There's still a lot of areas farther on down south that have no power and no phone lines yet. Hopefully soon for their sakes.

I hope that every thing works out for all the familys and people it effected wish them all the best. but im happy that cancun will be alright 2008 will bigger better and amazing dam i cant wait
