Youre kidding?!!!! I get e mails from the NHC so I'll keep a watch. Oh well, I'll start packing my cases and keep eveything crossed! I just hope Cancun is lucky (again)!!!! xxxxx
great... We are set to leave friday morning for my Bachelorette weekend. Can this really be happening, is it possible for my sister to get stuck in 2 hurricances (she got stuck in wilma). God i hope its like you all say and it stays south, and i pray for sun and i pray for safety for everyone whos there currently and is living there!
The reports seem pretty sure about the location of landfall this time. With Dean it was fluctuating for days, but they seem to be more confident about the projection. I really feel for the folks in the south, they so don't need this again.
Category 3 now but maintaining course to hit so far south of here it's unlikely we'll see any affects other than maybe a little rain.

Yep Cat 5 and this one is going to be a big one for some. But I still dont think Cancun and the Riviera Maya is threatened in any way, based on current info at the current time.
According to the National Hurricane Center, It has weakend, and is scheduled to hit Nicaragua, Honduras and Belize. I hope it gets weaker, by the time it makes landfall. Also, there is a tropical storm starting to build up on the African Coast.
