Humidity In The Rooms

    When I was in DR, my room smelled musty upon arrival, so I opened the sliding door and ran the AC...took a few hours, but the smell finally went away. It would come back sometimes when I’d return to my room in the evening, and luckily go away quickly. I’ll be looking into that Damprid stuff for sure. I also found some small deodorizer packets at Target that I keep in my laundry hamper that absorb odors pretty good. The brand is Fresh Wave or something like that.

    We used 2 of the 10.5oz canisters. They're each probably close to quart size containers though so not insignificant if room in luggage is at a premium.

    Thanks. We typically bring 175-225lbs of luggage depending on the trip.
    So another 1.25lbs is not an issue...lol.

    I have been here 8 times and this post is probably one of the most useful ever ! The Magnet idea genius ! The Streamers... who knew ? LOL, The Damp Rid I use at camp and in basement all the time and never thought of packing it !
