Excellent topic. My husband and I have chatted about the najed hug rule and he is comfortable with anything as am I too. I vote for having a national hug day while we are there!
Interesting topic. My hubby and I are normally huggers with friends and family. With new acquaintances, we follow their lead. Same goes at TTR. As aleays, when in doubt, just ask. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G800A using Tapatalk
Hugs are a nice way to show your warmth. I hear you on the social "what ifs", and understand your anxieties. But TTR is full of amazingly awesome people, and I doubt anyone would be disgruntled by receiving a nice kind hug! Bring a shirt that says HUG ME on it. That will help big time lol... Everyone will hug you! That removes the worry of who should initiate it because by wearing that shirt you're inviting it! I haven't been hugged in ages, so if you see me I would kindly receive a nice big hug!!!
Instead of the shirt, how about pasties that say "hug me"? Still too much coverage but it's working in the right direction.
Certainly! Pasties work too! I'll be expecting a nice looong hug from you! hehe Can't wait to see you guys
I thought hugs were the proper greeting at TTR? If not I want my money back. It does make you feel at home. Have fun and hug away. Never have i had any problems at TTR people are freaking crazy thats all...lol http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ez...151112/e/Funguy -Temptations/k/91ab/event.png
In the UK, I would say people rarely hug at all unless it is immediate family.... Having grown up in a home where I was rarely hugged even as a child I do find it a bit strange. Hugs are great, don't get me wrong and I do recognise cultural differences as such.... But frontal hugs, topless, with relative strangers? Would need to have a few to be comfortable with that....
