thanks tj!!!!!!hah i moved to florida and saw they had a local hsbc bank, so thought cool i will be able to use this local bank as i have a dollar acct in hsbc in mexico!!!! well anyway carmen my friend and realtor will just wire the money from sale of condo right into my bank account. thanks for all your help tj and by the way the boat made it back to south florida cleared customs thanks for all your help
Of course she can do that but having HSBC in Florida is not necessasry. All she needs is a US ATM. I think she is concerned about moving the proceeds from the sale from here to Florida. Were she to ask me, I would suggest having the buyer wire to money to a US bank. No matter where the closing occurs, verification of receipt of the funds is required. Some, but not all, banks offer USD accounts. I am not sure if HSBC is one of them. Lest we turn this into a private chat, let's wait for Kathy to set us straight. I am staying tuned.
