How to get the best deal for a 2 week vacation to Temptations? Help me out!

I used alpharooms and then booked flight seperate and saved over 400.00 for one person. It all depends on when you book. I booked about 2 months early for my room and about 1 1/2 months for my plane. Again it all depends. I just keep checking once a week or so and also noticed that flights tend to be cheaper when you book leaving on wed or thurs but also where I am from I have had some really cheap fights leaving on friday. Just keep searching there are always deals but you cann't go wrong with alpharooms and then your flights seperate

I checked out alpharooms and saw that their prices are in pounds. Can you get prices in dollars? I am just wondering if paying in pounds and with the exchange rate if alpha rooms would be more expensive than other websites?

Another question - I live 2 hours away from Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo and around 4 hours away from Toronto. Any suggestions as to which airport would be the best to fly out from in terms of cost?

Does anyone care to share an estimate as to how much you paid for 14 nights for Temptations?

Do you think I can get 14 days at Temptations from end of July to early August 2012 for LESS THAN $3000 for two people including hotel and flight? Maybe for even $2500?

We booked through applevacations.com. We have used them for many trips. We paid $900 pp (including taxes) for 7 nights flying out of Springfield, MO.

 

I've used Alpharooms.com before. you are given the option whether you want to pay in pounds, dollars or euros. I did save a ton of money when I used them last July for my 2 weeks trip to Temptation by booking the room with them and the flight with Expedia. I went in July and I booked my trip just 2 months prior in early May with no problems.

 

$2700 for 14 nights hotel and flight?? can I beat it?

I looked at alpharooms.com and was able to get a delux double room for $1886
I looked for flight info and was able to get $414 (flight kind of sucks for landing back in Pitt at midnight and having to drive back home 2 hours) but thats a total of $818.

Soooo.... 14 days plus flight for 2 people from 7/27/-8/10 for $2704..... that is GREAT! (I got $3200 from travelocity).


BUT - do you guys know how much it is to upgrade at the resort from a delux double room to one with a king size bed?? or to even upgrade to a king size bed w/ a room w/ jacuzzi?

I really would want a room w/ king not two double but alpharooms.com did not have a deluxe option w/ king it just said deluxe double.
