I think I would stick with box:icon_biggrin:. Never too safe with three liters of vino inside a suitcase.
I've been impressed with how strong those are. We almost always would remove the bladders... we've dropped them, i've stepped on them, and never had one leak/pop.
Love that idea! Only problem is trying to find one you like. Might have to buy a ton of "Chateau Cardboard" before hitting upon a winner.
I just walked across the street to the drugstore and bought some decent Sauvignon blanc from Australia. It wasn't cheap, but definately didn't break the bank! I do always bring 2 otters from duty free at the airport as well.....
Well if you came in May the Mayor would make the trip for you, but alas you choose April so your options are limited... {sigh...} Jamie
LOL Jamie. You will be happy to hear that as of today, things are no longer looking at all good for getting my April trial settled. So pack some bus fare and tennis shoes, because you may be doing a Walmart run for me this May.
Bota Box is incredibly good for the price, better than most bottles at around $10ish, and you get 3 bottles for about $15. Can't speak to the quality of the red, but the Chardonnay is quite good! Taking the bladder out of the box will help, just need to be careful on the weight of your suitcase - the liquids add up! Thankfully you don't need heavy clothes!! You can also use plastic flasks to bring liquor that is hard to find in Mexico - we brought Fireball that way in April and it was a huge hit at the sexy pool - can take the "funk" out of whipped cream breath and give you a nice buzz - two bonuses for the price of one
