I have always packed way too many clothes and shoes, I am now getting pretty good at travelling with just carry-on luggage. A trick that sometimes works for me is to fill up those 'space-saver bags' with all your clothes and then use a vacuum to suck out the air, you can squeeze a lot of clothes into your carry-on this way. Then when your trip is over you can give away some of your dresses, shoes, clothing to the maids as a thank you and fit the rest back into your carry-on, unless you can borrow a vacuum from the resort to re-seal the space saver bag. When we get to iur destination we usually just stop at Walmart or some convenience store to pick-up any creams, liquids, toiletries that we weren't able to bring with us. Just an idea.
Almost all the way packed. We are each allowed a 50# bag free which is more than enough room since summer clothes are light. He usually only brings 2 pairs of shoes while I think I have about 8. I am trying to eliminate some but I just cannot seem to make any cuts and since my bag is under 50#, I really do not feel a need to eliminate. I feel like I am forgetting something. I will review the above list later after work. Three more days....
