K Karen got a lawyer question for you. If you photocopy your passport, will it be honored if you lose the real one and should that photocopy then be cetified.

This sounds exactly like us. I also order online/purchase in the store, wash and put in suitcase. Then I usually unpack and coordinate with hubby's clothes for the dinners and/or theme nights. Lucky for him, he can wear most of his clothes at home, so he will wait until much later to start putting his stuff together. I will not wear a lot of mine at home, so I can put it in starting 3 weeks ahead. His clothes take up more space so we try to do 1 pair of shorts and 2 shirts also!

The hard part for me is predicting how much liquids to bring. I always worry about enough shower gel/contact solution and lotions for the week. This last year I think I figured out about how much I need...so we will see!

I want to start now...for June!

No, you can't use it in place of a passport. BUT I am told that having the photocopy makes it MUCH easier to get a replacement passport while you are in the foreign country.

I only listed the stuff that people might not think of! No one forgets shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste. The list would have run on for three forum pages if I put everything I pack on it! lol

Why the hell would you bring hand soap, Monique??

That's awesome! Repeat offender here and have not packed yet. I am starting to feel some anxiety as I am usually more organized.

    A few more days......
