Book a one way transfer from the airport to the hotel for $35 USD through USA Transfers. You can jump in with us for the return trip to the airport.

 

And don't forget that other package transfers will have U met up with them to schedule the return trip at the hotel (We use package plans with transfers offered at a lower price) which turns out to be nothing but an excuse to try to sell u excursions. Really pisses me off that I have to wait and give up my day so these guys can try to sell u something...
Where as USA Transfer has my pickup voucher already on file.

Now this is the first time for us to use USA Transfer, so not sure how it will turn out...but , I do like it that we do not have to spend time waiting for some guy to show up and try to sell us something that we do not want...

I second this. USA Transfers is great and if you book the private shuttle, it takes you directly there in about 20 minutes. It's $55 for 2 people, round trip.

A couple things to keep in mind:

1) You don't pay USA Transfers when you book. With all my travel planning (flight, hotel, shuttle, excursion, airport parking) I had forgotten that this was the only thing I hadn't already paid for and I kept insisting to the driver that I had already paid. Well I was wrong. Again, you don't pay when you book the shuttle: you pay the driver once he has brought you to Temptation. You pay him, preferably in U.S. Cash or pesos, for the whole round trip. It's $55 US and we added a $5 tip

2) When you arrive at Cancun airport, you will collect your baggage and then go to Customs. Customs may or may not decide to inspect your bags. They ask you to push a button and if it lights red, you have to let them check your bags. I think it's a random thing. But anyway, the IMPORTANT thing is: Once you clear Customs (whether they've checked your bags or not) you make a right and WALK STRAIGHT OUT of the airport. There will be dozens of staff members looking to "help" you with your shuttle. No, it's BS. None of them are there to help. They look professional, dress nicely, wear official badges and say they work for the airport. Just ignore them and walk out the glass doors. Do not even stop at the taxi station just before the doors.

Once you are outside the airport (Welcome to Mexico!) you will look for any employee with a USA Transfer uniform or look for the USA Transfers stand. It's usually easy and quick to spot an employee wearing the uniform. They will ask your name and maybe have you wait a few minutes so they can get your driver. At that point, you can relax. The hard part is over. Once your driver meets up with you, he will help you with your bags then drive you directly to the resort in comfort.

At some point, before your flight back home, you should call USA Transfers to confirm when they'll pick you up for your return to the airport.

We've been to Temptation 3 times since 2013 and we've only had great experiences with USA Transfers.

The transfer that I used last time, and am using this time "Grayline transfer" is great! I know as a CCC member, I am breaking a rule by not using USA Transfers Lol.. But it came with my package. For a 5 USD tip, I was dropped off before everyone else, and they even helped me to stop and buy some corona "the Guy went in with me and help me carry the beer back out because of my cane" I was worried the first time, but now, just like Steve and Chinos "they help", I know I am making the right choice. It is a good transfer I hope this helps some people! Have fun everyone[emoji41]

When are you going? If our timing is close I can act as a second person at reception and beyond Always ready to help a damsel in distress !
But do not worry, TTR does take singles.

 

we're starting our trip with a few days at the Platinum Yucatan Princess. Does USA or any other transfer companies do resort to resort transfers?

 

We did it in 48 minutes in May but that was with a 6:00am landing. The airport was empty and the timeshare piranhas weren't even out of bed yet. It could have been even quicker but our bags were the last ones to come into the carousel.
