... Right. Doesn't effect me personally that much, but it stops my party-sex-doll-type chick I'm with from breathing. It's hard to get her to party while she's coughing and hacking.... and it's hard to get her to the party mood when we have to leave the party so she can breathe. I have to say I smoked for 20 years and I never lit up during a meal, I hated it when someone else did as well. Have to say I've never had a bad experience with anyone smoking at Paty O's. Never experienced anything coming off the grill as far as smoke either, the only thing I can say that was bothersome was the foam making machine when the wind blew in off the water, then you had to cover your drink if you didn't want the foam to land in it. As far as smokers smoking though they haven't bothered me and yes if it did I'd say something or move cause as an ex-smoker it can bother my nose if I'm around too much smoke in a confined area, I won't preach to anyone that does smoke cause I remember what it was like when I was a smoker....so let's just treat each other with respect if you smoke and you move to avoid blowing smoke in someone's face thank you. And if you're a non smoker and too many smokers light up near you do what I do take the opportunity to go for a swim, take a washroom break or go for a drink.
Then I guess that shouldn't be Temptations motto! Not trying to start a argument...but come on ppl your all being silly. Don't like something remove yourself from the situation as you would any other scenario! Its like saying you see a car coming straight at you in a cross walk and you not jumping out of the way because you had the right to be walking. (kind of confusing but makes perfect sense) Its crazy to ask the people who do smoke to take all the responsibility (which everyone on here who says they smoke say they step away from people who don't) you guys (non smokers) can have a little responsibility too!

Its not ''crazy'' to ask the person who lit the cigaret to be responsable for it . Every one on here may say they step away, but after 6 or 7 drinks I can tell you that is not the case.
My only response to this statement Donald.. as I'm sure the person was trying to get across... so someone is in your space and yelling and screaming there head off... try telling them to move on over.. I would walk away... What it comes down to is respect.. example many times while we were there and you joined us at a table I would even change chairs with you so the breeze/smoke wasn't going in your face... we tried to accommodate you many times. I remember you walking by a smoker and getting a lung full... by the pool... Many people are very respectful when it comes to smoking... every year I hear the same from you... If you don't like whats happening in your space.. then move... PS smokers we were nailed 120.00 US dollars for bring 4 cartons of cig. We heard a couple were dinged 200.00. You now only allowed 200 cigs per person and it doesn't matter how long your down there.

Right. that would be like complaining that someone is drunk and obnoxious next to me and I'm at a bar so I'm going to get mad and not just remove myself from that side of the bar...either way you look at it silly to be getting mad about people smoking out in the open (yes I know patyos is semi enclosed...but is still very much so considered open because there is not roof!) I guess they should just establish a no smoking resort so they can all go and be happy without getting "smoked out" Also look back at a lot of posts on this forum "no one knows you and no one gives a shit" gets used in a lot of "stupid analogies"
