how much do you reckon you spent

ok, so i gotta start saving up for next year ... havent been to cancun for a couple of years now, back when the £ was buying about $1.85 so, for the guys (and girls) who went this year ... how much did you get through, was it more expensive than previous years?

 

I bought dollars the other day and it was 71p for a dollar.

went to new york this time last year, and was getting 48p to the $

 

i spent £450 all together, included going out every night, dominoz pizza now and then, ferry to island and rent out boat, jungle tour, fire extinguisher i had to pay for lol tax to get out of the country, buses/taxi's everynight

 

for a week btw

 

spent way to much, reckon including hotel and flights around £3000

 

£450 for a weeks holiday seems quite reasonable. Were you all inclusive? Whats the tax to get out the country?

am off to ibiza in june, expecting to get through alot more than that!

i think the tax is about $40 (correct me if i'm wrong), bit like wales in that respect, free to get in but you have to pay to leave!

 

I went to Ibiza last June and spent about £700 in a week! Especially with the state of the pound now don't you lose money?
I never ever come home from a holiday with money, It always comes to the last day and Im scraping my pennies together! I better mind and save some if they won't let me leave without paying.
