That sucks I hope it picks up. I'm still not sure if I'm going or if I'm picking a cheaper locale like Vegas or Miami.
:lol: :lol: AGREED............. vegas is NOT cheap!!! If you go to vegas and intend on not dropping 100 a night in the club, NOT including the 40+ cover, you are sadly mistaken!! Unless you dont plan on drinking of course and like waiting in line for hours for the clubs :lol:
lol no kidding fletch......... cancun anyday of the week if you are talking about spring break. Hell, you can save so much more money by going to cancun than vegas, in my opinion, after hotel and flight of course.
All of you guys are probably right. The hotel and airfare is about $300 cheaper to Vegas. Is it really THAT much more expensive than Cancun? The cover charges are pretty high in Cancun too, plus the tips you have to give the bartender to serve you. I would think it'd be about the same.
Vegas is ridiculously expensive. Studio 54 cover was $90 when we were there. That was just cover, not include drinks. I think I spent $200 on taxi's that weekend too. Taxi's are more expensive than NYC. I probably spent twice as much comparing to Cancun and we didn't even go to a strip club or got hookers.
That is ridiculous. I heard it is really hard to get into some of the clubs too, unless you get your concierge to get you on the list. $90 is ridiculous for cover. And I can't believe taxis are more expensive than in NY. Jesus.
