How many folks have been visited by "Montezuma"?

never had A problem I always take my applecider vineger one shot every morning

 

I was fine the whole 2 week stay, brushed my teeth with the tap water and everything. Only issue I had was I couldn't handle the smoked salmon entrée served at the italian - my stomach must be too weak for it. That made me sick, but not the whole Montezuma type revenge!

 

I was down and out for 3 days last September i will NOT allow it to visit this year but taking some immodium with us just in case !!

1986 - Took the car ferry from Puerto Juarez to Isla Mujeres. I think the guy selling me the popsicle out of the box gave it to me. Other than that, never.

 

Maybe last year or maybe it was sun poisoning, or maybe it was food poisoning, or maybe it was alchohol poisoning. :ernaehrung005:

Had shivers for 1 full day.

 

That'll make for a crappy booze cruise!!


We've never caught it in mexico. Just be sure to follow up any water with a couple shots of tequila and it'll sterilize in your stomach!

 

Better to take it than not have it .. also take probiotics with you.. if you do get it! I have never had a problem though

 

First trip there, 2 days in, hadn't left the resort and I was bedridden. Had to call the hotel doctor, was given shots in the room and about 4 prescriptions to fill across the street. Thank goodness work and the government covered the bills when I got home, yay Canada!

Second trip was fine!

 

When we're were there a few weeks ago I heard people got sick from the fish at the buffet, specifically the salmon at the buffet. Never got sick off the ice or water.
