Express check-in for the resort, you can check in up to 2 weeks in advance. There's a link on their website, saves some time at check-in, your paperwork is all ready. Plus we request certain rooms or buildings that we prefer.
We have never taken more then 5 minutes to check in , plus you still need your wrist band and stuff. The room part I am interested in , we have been close to 10 times and rarely get the room we ask for. Please let us know if it helped in that regard. Might try it then

Hey Beachbums We requested the San Lucas building, as it's closest to the pool (119-331 building). Our 2nd choice was the San Jose building, which is directlly across from the San Lucas building and also close to the pool (149-359 building). We have stayed in the 106-318 building previously. The resort is small enough that really any room will be a short walk anywhere, but we like to be close to the pool which also happens to be closest to the ocean. See you in the pool in 10 days!
Good info thank you. We also like being in front the closer to the pool on the first floo. But just like you mention it doesn't really matter since the place is so small
