Hi all, We halve booked a vacation for Cancun for next week starting from 6 May till 13 May to enjoy the beach and the nice weather in a resort. But when looking at the weather forecast we have got the impression that it is going to be rainy at least for couple of days which is not ideal for beach holiday. Since we are not familiar with weather situation in Cancun it is difficult for us to get an idea what weather we are going to expecting. Is it going to be rainy for couple of hours, the whole day? We are considering cancelling the holiday since it does not make sense to fly longways from the Netherlands to be stuck in hotel room for 1 week. Any advice and tip would be appreciated. Normally, if the there is a moderate chance of rain that means that somewhere in the Cancun area there might be a rain shower. If you see a forecast with 100% chance of rain for a few days in a row then I'd worry. Otherwise the rain showers roll through occasionally and don't last too long before the sun comes back out.
