This year we decided to stay nearby for the night before and after our stay so we could enjoy FULL days at TTR (we arrive late in the day and leave at noon). We booked at Sotavento Hotel & Yacht Club for Nov 29 & Dec 14 (any feedback on this place would be welcomed, according to google maps its only a 9 minute walk from TTR. So my question is how early have you ever personally arrived and left TTR?? (please not what you have heard from others just what you have personally experienced)
Arrived 6:30am for the grand reopening, latest I have left was probably 2 or 3am the next day after checking out. Both of those were quite a few years ago though. Not sure if they have any 'rules' now.
last December we arrived at 9:00 am and they were happy to see us. They will keep your bags until your room is ready. We took a beach bag with everything we needed for the pool and lunch. If you leave something in your luggage that you have to get they will let you in the baggage room to get it. The latest we have left is around 4:00pm.
We just did the same with the sotavento beach hotel last October. Hotel ist okay, but take bug repellent with you. One night in the room near to the laguna was enough to destroy half of my leg…. So because of that (and the jet lag flying in from Europe, which get us awake at 6 am) we arrived at Temptation around 6:45. Members office was not open yet, no blacks wristbands at the front desk, but we just went to breakfast (which opens at 7) and started the holiday with some mimosas. They gave us a ticket, but nobody ask (but probably everyone ‚knows‘ us ) Latest we stayed was 5pm, because of late flights.
