Accckkkk, it's still hitting -5c overnight here so Mexico is going to feel like a sauna. Long pants? Not so much.
That's what we were thinking! It's not quite that cold here, but long pants in Mexico in July? No thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've not been denied while wearing shorts and sandals but I don't wear board shorts and flip flops either. Some nice Dressy Tommy Bahama shorts seem to be accepted but I do bring a token pair of khakis just in case. They usually hang in my room the entire trip. I can't say as I've ever noticed what any other dude is wearing.
Just mens dress shoes. last two trips only wore leather sandals and they never said anything. And last trip we got into the Italian with Reg wearing shorts and a dress shirt. FYI
Different dress codes for different nights: The night you stumble incoherently to the buffet and start shoving carbs down your throat straight from the counter to sop up some of excess alcohol from your day-long sexy pool binge: your coverup over your suit. It's all you can manage, and we understand. The night you and your partner reserve a restaurant for just the two of you: that dress he really wanted you to wear, but you swore you never would. Bonus points if it slips off shoulders or scooches up whenever you stand up. The night you're going to change into complicated Lingerie right after dinner is over: a sundress. Easy on, easy off so you can get back to the party.
