Re: tipping While it's true that $2 bills are appreciated as they are thought to be lucky, it is best not to tip exclusively with the $2 bills. Because they are thought to be lucky many people who receive them will not spend them. A tip of 2 $1 bills will help them out them out in paying their bills much more than the $2 bills will. It's a nice gesture and can be given in addition to a tip but truthfully should not be given as the only tip.
