We usually take few dollars down in a beach bag where we keep suntan lotion and other pool stuff, nothing valuable and just a few dollars, I keep a few ones tucked in my hat band too in case I don't want to get out of the pool to get money for tips. A normal day tipping at the pool bar for us is probably 10 to 15 dollars.
I was thinking of putting a laynard around my neck to hold money and other little things. I will also bring a bag to the pool, but I like my money as close to me as possible.
They actaully have lanyards with a water proof tube attached to hold valuables. They may even have them in the gift shop. I know I saw them in town at souvineer shops. I used to have one I bought in Jamaica when we did the Dunn's River Falls climb.
That would be nice to have, although it would give tan lines and since we are mostly topless and arent getting tan lines that way.... Of course me thinks Philakiss is less concerned about tan lines that say me! LOL! Although G and F wore sunscreen the rest of the trip after getting somewhat red on their fishing trip!
I saw someone with it wrappd up around their wrist. I just have Ryan carry the money, and hand it to me whenever I ask!
They switched to key cards this year Jackie! I couldnt believe it when we showed up last year and they were actual keys. I dont think I have seen that in AGES in a hotel. I think even our hotel in Mazatlan the year before was a card.
Thanks Bethy, I am going to try to find one of those tubes. I live in Huntington Beach and I have looked all over for something like that but with no luck. It will help if they have them there. If not guess I'll just have to punt... Thanks again, KJ
