Not sure exactly what you mean, but you can use the search function for posts made by a certain user. Use the character * as a wildcard (i.e. if you dont know the full name) Thing is though with 8,500 members and only 26 letters in the alphabet a search on just one character will bring up a ton of people whose name starts with the same letter. Feel free to start a "looking for *name*" thread if you like, that might get you a better result.
