Confirmed...just got back from 9/30~10/7 trip. Pool is deep. Short folks are at a bit of a disadvantage. Bring a Bubba, etc. with a lid and straw (for extra height). Sit it on your shoulder and hold handle. Hot tubs are NOT hot. Same temp as pool. Same with big hot tub at ramp to Bash. Also very slippery near pool bathrooms and many other places including room!
The pool is certainly deeper, bordering on too deep for more than a few shorter women, but it's manageable. Watch out entering though. There are steps in some areas, but none are even. It might be an 8" drop for the first step, or 2' in other areas. I guess that was an interesting design element. The ladies will also want to watch out for the bar stools in and out of the water. They have a flat seating surface but no rounded corner radius at the edge. That leaves a hard, abrupt edge with no padding, and there are a LOT of women walking around with bruised thighs. Also watch the ramp leading to the bathroom. It gets very slippery when wet, which is all day long. Just a couple tips from our stay.
Note to self, Find the wrong valve and turn it. Also we checked out this week at another pool we frequent that Crock wedges work great IN the pool for a little added height if needed.
We've had a couple hot tubs over the years. They are easy to maintain when it's just you and your wife......even when adding 2-3 others a day.............but many more than that and the Chloromines are likely to go through the roof with Temps in the 102 range. Beware! LOL
Bruising from the seating has been a problem since opening night and I was hoping it would be rectified by now. No lady in a drop dead sexy outfit wants bruising to spoil her look!
This has to be a 1st listening to ladies complaining about going in to Deep. One option is wear high heels in the pool (Sexy)
The pool is deeper no doubt, but there's a bench that runs nearly clear around it. Plenty of places to find shallow water.
