We agree totally- let's go back to the days of Anything Goes... we have both participated in and have fond memories of the "old" evening events. Ken and Joyce
It does seem that the folks from the Forum could express themselves to management on certain issues, where there's basic agreement. The camera issue is a 50-50 split between the forum people, half for, half against. But other issues it's more of a consensus, ie. dress for lingerie night or you don't come in. Most hotels are interested in the opinions of their guests, especially ones who've visited many times. Brings up another point, the guest questionaire they give you when you check out. Probably a good idea to express dissatisfaction with the rude people with cameras, and other such things. Supposedly the hotel reads all these so a lot of people complaining about perverts with cameras might make a difference. To Backs13; Jim, we've followed most all your posts, and let me say, single guys like you are certainly not the problem. Don't feel you have to answer for the rude singles who slip into TTR; there are some rude married people as well. Your sense of humor, fun loving attitude, and general good common sense are exactly what makes TTR the great place it is. It's not about married versus singles; it's about jerks being jerks. We'll have a cold one waiting for you April 13th!
I know for a fact that several years ago there was a standing item at each Directors meeting where comments that had been made here were discussed. Nowadays I'm not sure the hotel monitor the forum and I dont think if I/we were to send a list of suggestions that it would be reach the powers that be or be acted upon at all. I'm sure the hotel have their own reasons for every change they make, Id prefer not to interfere with their business unless asked directly for feedback.
The chairs round the pool is easy to solve just chuck the stuff off. Works for me - when the peeps arrive they never say anything. Bring on the cams she loves it
really?... I can remember singles being allowed in. The only 2 rules were no cameras and if you were in nice shoes then you were participating.
We still have pics of us at the end of an 'anything goes' session when it used to be in the main restaurant area. They used to sell the pics around in those days - then you did have to remember 'Nobody knows you' but they can see lol
On their Facebook page, Temptations has a topic called 'Tell us what you like and dislike' that states: "We are always looking to improve for you, so we would like to hear from our regulars, what you think can make us a better hotel. Say anything you want.. so we can make it happen..." It may be worth a try to put your suggestions there (if you use facebook).
Im sure I could have gotten in , what I should have said was theat I was always told you had to participate and I was standing there talking to people, they would start closing the curtains and not let anyone in that either wasnt sure they were participating or wasnt participating...
Sorry dude but I agree with that. There was nothing more frustrating than trying to play quest and most people on your team are just watching.
