I was staying at one of the high-dollar hotels and bored out of my mind. The people staying there were anti-social...if you didn't arrive with them, then don't even say hi. I met 2 girls at Senior Frogs that were telling me about the Anything Goes contest at BBG the night before and how much fun the hotel was. I decided to take a look a few days later. The bellhop took me for a quick walk around the hotel one morning and strangers were inviting me to do a shot, play volleyball, etc. I met more people in 5 minutes than during the previous week at my other hotel. I bought the day pass and didn't leave until the sun came up the next day. Ever since then, I've been hooked! I travel a lot for fun (will be passing 2 million miles on American Airlines this year) and have never found anyplace like this in the world. I've never seen anywhere so friendly...and a lot of the people you meet end up being friends in the "real world" too. The rooms aren't the greatest, the food isn't the greatest (except the Italian restaurant!), and the beach...well, let's not even discuss the beach...but none of it matters, I have more fun here than I do at 5-star hotels around the world. I've lost track of how many trips I've made to BBG/Temptation, but I keep coming back once or twice a year.
We have been hearing alot about Temptations from friends the last year or so, we have gone to both Hedo 2 and Desire. Our preferance by far was Desire! We heard that TTR was similar to Desire in the party scene and half the price...so we thought why not try it while the disco is closed at Desire.
well it started out with getting a divorce a couple years ago and for a treat I told myself to enjoy life now and live every day as your last. So I went online and looked for an adults only resort in Cancun since I went to Playa Del Carmen a few years ago and loved the scenery ( if you know what I mean) even being married at the time I still looked....lol. So was looking around spring break time even though I was 40 at the time figured hell could still hang with the young ones so why not plus my nephew who is 23 wanted to go also. I found TTR on tripadivisor and read some reviews and then somehow came upon cancuncare and joined the forum and was impressed that this resort had a whole forum to itself. After just reading alot of trip reports I said this place is for me old people looking to party and just have a good time ( nowadays old means over 30 so I have been told). So was just checking prices out last January and I saw I could leave the following week for one hell of a price and booked it on the spot of course single without my nephew since he couldn't go. I had the best time and meet so many people young and old that just wanted to include me in activities even though they were with alot of couples and I was single and when I got back home I told everyone about this place and going back again end of april. This year I will make 2 trips though for 9 days apiece. Thanks to this forum to encourage me to take the big step on going here. I love the fact if you single you are more then welcome to join in with everyone even though they may not be. I do travel alot and cann't wait to get back here Rob
We like to call it our college frat party for adults. You remember the really good parties where everything was going great and then shit starts to break... well we party like that only shit doesn't break.. unless Treavor is along and then he breaks.. but that's a different story. Jamie
I actually booked at Blue Bay Club (for the 2nd year in a row), found this site before my 2nd trip. As I didn't have kids with me, and BBC was overbooked, the sent me to BBG. I had already signed up for Steve's booze cruise, so it was meant to be! Met lots of good people my first trip, and timed my next trip to when they would be there (Bart/Annette, Monique/Glenn).
We vacationed last year at the Wyndham Sabor section on Cozumel, the adult-only part of the resort. Loved it, had a fantastic time at the pool with other fun, like-minded adults, but still had to "deal with" children at mealtime if we chose to eat at the buffet restaurant which served the whole resort. So this year we decided we definitely wanted to go to an ADULT only resort. We've talked about going to Hedo for a few years now, but I prefer Mexico to Jamaica. Desire is more $$$ than we wanted to pay, and Temptation seemed to be JUST as much fun so we are now booked for September! The opportunity for sun and fun, freeflowing yummy drinks, and a little bit of naughtiness thrown in for good measure is exactly what we were looking for!
we only do adult only vacations.. we figure kids are gone for summer, we do not have our kids why listen to anyone elses kids screaming and everything else... We have been to Hedo II twice, and another resort in cancun, my wife loves to go nude or go topless... friends just got back from TTR so now its our turn! We are gonna party July 6-12...please feel free to wave us down, say hi...
Ex husband and I were looking to go to Cancun back in April 2005 and booked the RIU (RPLA)..we had a great time there but it wasnt "exciting"...The week we got back someone on Trip Advisor told me about Cancuncare, so I joined, learned all about BBG, started chatting with people, and they talked us into going in Sept 2005...we went back every year (in May) 3 times after that....and a few weeks ago I went for the 5th time, but with my new guy, and he LOVED it...we will definately be back!
my boyfriend and i were looking for an all inclusive get away at a reasonable price and searched so many websites for WEEKS and we stumbled on TTR on travelocity... did some research. we liked the idea that it was 21+ and he likes the topless optional.. were not swingers or anything but we wanted a place where we could have a great time Then i found this forum and yeah we booked!
The wife always wanted to go someplace warm for vacation as usually we end up going north in the winter. :brick: Looked into going to Hedo III for our honeymoon last December and found this resort over on Tripadvisor. Checked the prices and discovered it was actually much cheaper to go here. We're failry open minded and enjoy a good time. First day she was topless within the hour and the next day naked in the pool. We had a blast and couln't wait to go again. Now we'd both like to go every 6 months or so if we can swing it. We'll be there this October for 8 days.
