Hope everyone survives without to many bumps and bruises. When you are not prepared or used to cold weather it can be very dangerous. 2 nights ago we had a 12" snowfall and temperatures that were -20degrees Celcius (-4 degrees F). Everything as normal, just waited an extra hour to get the roads cleared before driving to work. Last week in Alberta, 25 or so guys played hockey for 250 hours straight. Alberta had nights that temperatures dropped to -67 degrees Celcius (-88 degrees Fahrenheit) THATS COLD
We've lucked out for the most part. The power never went out for us though we are under a Boil Notice for our water. We're about out of bottled water so we've been boiling away, today. We've also been able to help some people who have not been as fortunate but giving them some food and warmth. If anyone around North Fort Worth still could use some help, let us know and we'll do what we can.
