Since we're FROM the middle of nowhere Iowa, we go there a lot! We live in Omaha but spend a lot of time in Des Moines.
Count us in! Not much sleeping room on our boat(unless you sleep in a big pile:icon_mrgreen, but we can go fast and burn lots of fuel!
have to add my small iowa town as well Climbing Hill half way between Omaha, neb and Sioux City Ia off I29 glad to c some midwest ppl on here ! i live by ST Louis now, but still Iowa in my heart <3 we will be at TTR in 19 days and counting...and again in june, over the 13
Holy cow, I'm from Danbury. I remember playing little leauge baseball against Climbing Hill growing up. The wife and I now live in Omaha.
We're in Omaha too, and there are several CCC members in the Omaha area. We could even have an Omaha meet-up at some time.
We might come up with a few boats to have a great three or four days at Rathbun. They have cabins nearby or a motel at the marina. Also, multiple camping areas. We prefer the nearby cabins or the motel. Limited driving. We usually rent a slip at the marina. They are made for cruisers. Some are big enough for 2 boats. Of course we really enjoy the Ozarks..
couldn't help but notice the name on the trailor for the grear state of IN. LOL we love boat rides like Boobs Cruise.
Going to revitalize this thread and see if there are any thoughts for setting up a date for a mini Temptation party get together.
