We have a cruiser that we keep down at The Lake of the Ozarks. We are south so it is only a 3 hour drive. We used to be river rats but the river down here is so volatile and full of debris. We love it down at the lake. We could easily drive to DM, though. It is only about 3 hours away.
Iowan party, that would be awesome, and neighboring states could join the fun. Nobody knows how to party like Iowans !!!! We need to make this happen...........
I live in Waterloo. Any reason to get out of town works for me...but an Iowa TTR get together would be awesome!
We where at TTR Dec 10-16 and there was at least 20 couples from Iowa, been there 8 times and never seen more than a handful combined, it was amazing and they were all a bunch of crazy f##kers it was awesome !!!!!
Holy $&!#~! When we were there last June, we were the ONLY Iowa people. We met great friends, but all of them were either west coast, east coast, or gulf coast. Or at least 3 states away....
Wow! That is a lot of Iowans. We always go Week 8 and there are many people from the Midwest. Lots of Cheeseheads, Minnesota peeps and tons of Canadians. We have been 6 times and have made friends on 5 trips who we have later vacationed with or visited or they have visited us at the lake (no one wants to come to the middle of nowhere Iowa). That is why we love TTR! We usually go once a year but want to go 2 or 3 times instead of going to Vegas. Sounds like early December would be fun.
