Thanks Chris, that's good information. Can you buy insurance to cover a Premier stay booked through the resort? We buy insurance on our flights but worry about the resort.
Yes you can. Just go to the website squaremouth, put in the information they request and like 20-50 quotes will come up. You can also filter what you want on the sidebar. I clicked Hurricane/weather right away
Ha! I'm sure we will Craig, never even met you yet and already know you drink a shit load of Tequilla!! :huepfen021:
We were under the impression that end of October was out of the hurricane season...? Hmm, this concerns me somewhat, i'd hate to wait all year round till October for our holiday, then have something dreadful happen or the weather be utter crap for the 2 weeks! What has the weather been like, historically over the past few years from middle to end of October then??
Hurricane season runs from June 1st until November 30th for the Carribean. 3 years ago we were down for Halloween and a Hurricane was on the way, they were boarding up the resort, had an evacuation plan and the storm never materialized into a hurricane and was downgraded to a Tropical Depression. Our flight was delayed 3 days and had to pay to stay at TTR for that time (50% off) which I was reimbursed for when I got home. Normally the weather is perfect but why chance it and a storm happens and you dont have insurance. I'd rather get my money back than pay for a vacation that was ruined and not get my money back.
As always Chris is right, if a storm comes through we all will party in Ajay, or Guido rooms. We all will become good bartender.
Well hell, what am I worrying about then!!!??? Lol. Morgan and I will wear our pinneys to servie drinks and our pinnies only!!
