Got to admit I am stealing this idea from another thread.
Kinda early, I know, to start lobbying for theme nights already.
And we are nkt theme night fans, especially of the tired boring ones, but this one sounds cool and educational.

    A Booze tasting night.
say Vodka, or Whisky or Red Wine or Scotch or even Cinnamon Infused Alcohol.
    Anything But Tequilla

Majority rules. On type of booze
Pick a night (Oct 30 or Nov 1)
GOTTA BYOB IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE/B] bring a bottle of your favorite

try to co-ordinate on here so we bopefully get a wide range of the spirit chosen and avoid over duplicating.
I am sure Red Wine would produce the best selection.

    Anyone interested?

Again any cool smooth booze...except Tequilla!!!

What type of spirit you wanna do?
I am partial to red wine....but think scotch could be cool.

    I will 2nd his choice

    But until he speaks

    Red Wine 1
    Scotch 1
    Bourbon 1

Besides enjoying Bourbon personally I'm interested in it because it is one of biggest sectors in the craft distilling movement behind vodka. And, while vodka is my go to booze, there just isn't that much difference in the taste. We drink Skyy simply because it gives us the least hangover of any vodka. But, Bourbon has so much variation on smoothness and overall flavors that I think it would be very interesting and educational.

Then this would be a great opportunity to learn about it.

I gotta go with bourbon. There are taste variations in all brands that people miss out on unless they do an actual tasting. Like wines you can pick up subtle hints of vanilla, caramel, chocolate, charcoal, etc....
